Choose Your Shows

There are 50 international performing companies in this year's Fringe, most of them are doing six performances over the 11 day festival. You can browse through The Shows, or use the Daily Schedule to see what's on when you're available. Also, check out the Special Events page for previews, one-night-only shows, Fringe-ing for families, aprez-Fringe parties and more - some of these events are Free or Pay-What-You-Can. Watch behind-the-scenes interviews with Fringe artists, staff, and volunteers on VictoriaFringe TV!

Pin on a Visa Button - $5

ALL TICKET HOLDERS 13+ YEARS MUST HAVE A FRINGE VISA BUTTON.
This is your annual membership to the Fringe and you must have one, and a ticket, to see a show. You'll be asked to show your button whenever you enter a fringe Indoor Venue. You only have to buy a button once though - so the first time you go to a show it might cost, say, $14, but all your next shows (since you already have a button pinned to your person) will be $9 or less.

Why the button? Because 100% of the ticket price you pay at the door goes to the performers you've chosen to see. Your $5 Visa button supports Intrepid Theatre, the company that puts the Fringe together, and helps cover the cost of renting venues, technical equipment rental, printing programs and tickets, signs, staff, insurance, and all that other good stuff behind the scenes.

VISA BUTTON SALE - 2-for$5 (in person only) at these events
Fringe Block Party, August 19, 7 pm - 9:30 pm, Broad Street

Love Your Lineup

For popular shows, you might have to line-up if you don't have advance tickets. This is a normal and healthy part of Fringe-ing. Take this opportunity to ask the people around you what they've seen that's good.

Four Fringe Rules

  1. You must have a ticket and a Fringe Visa Button to enter a Fringe Venue. (See the Tickets & Passes for details)
  2. NO LATECOMERS - Fringe shows start on time. If the doors are closed when you arrive, we cannot let you in, even if you have a ticket.
  3. All ticket sales are final. No exchanges or refunds unless show is cancelled.
  4. CASH ONLY or passes for tickets at the door.

Kids at the Fringe

  • We recommend the free Fringekids Fest on August 23 in Market Square for families and Fringers under 12 years.
  • Most ticketed shows at the Fringe are adult-oriented.
  • Performers include suitability ratings/warnings in their show descriptions.
  • Shows rated ALL AGES may not be suitable for young children.
  • Performers have the right to enforce an ADULTS ONLY or 14+ rating.
  • Small children and babes-in-arms require tickets, and will not be admitted at Adults Only events.
