Free Fun for Kids and Families

The Fringe’s 100% FREE end-of-summer splash for kids returns with live music, craft activities, face-painting, a bouncy bunny, a tumble of real live Fringe Faeries, TIm Gosley's puppet show "The Ugly Ducking," music with Cam & Daisy the Clown, and fun with Major Conrad Flapps. The Cardboard Castle beckons young artists: step inside and paint the walls! Families are encouraged to bring new school supplies to be donated to the Single Parent Resource Centre.

On taking Kids to "regular" Fringe Shows...

We recommend the free FringeKids Fest on August 29 in Market Square for families and Fringers under 12 years.
Most ticketed shows at the Fringe are adult-oriented.
Performers include suitability ratings/warnings in their show descriptions.
Shows rated ALL AGES may not be suitable for young children.
Performers have the right to enforce an ADULTS ONLY or 14+ rating.
Small children and babes-in-arms require tickets, and will not be admitted at Adults Only events.
Minors may not be admitted to licensed Venues 5 and 12.
