From the start of Uno Fest and running all summer til the end of the Fringe, Intrepid Theatre invites you to share some of the secrets and stories of the city.

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the City of Victoria, Intrepid Theatre has commissioned four short, site specific audio plays for “solo audience member” and mp3 player, that will guide the listener through the city’s historic streets, alleys, parks and buildings. Its free, and you decide when to begin.

 How it Works

Download Press>Play MP3s to your personal audio player using the links below, or look for a sign near the starting point with the headphone symbol, and scan the QR Code  on the sign with your smart phone. Headphones are recommended, as are daylight hours.

To download any of the links below, right-click the link with your mouse, save it to your desktop, and load it on to your player via your preferred platform (ie. iTunes)  as you would with a music file. Don’t start listening until you arrive at the starting point for the play.

MP3 Players and headphones are available for loan from Intrepid Theatre (#2, 1609 Blanshard at Fisgard). For more information and hours, please call 250-383-2663. The loan is free, but you will be asked to leave a piece of picture ID, which will be returned when you return the player.

If you’d like to experience all four plays at once, the recommended order is A>D (see site map below). The full walk will take about 2 hours. Individual plays are 15-25 minutes each.
