Intrepid Theatre and CFUV 101.9 present one of the world's most brilliantly bizarre musical trios at the Metro Studio as the perfect spooky-week treat. The UK-based punk cabaret band The Tiger Lillies (Martyn Jacques, falsetto, ukulele & accordion; Adrian Stout, double bass & saw; Adrian Huge, toy drum-kit & cutlery) have toured the world for two decades, enchanting and offending with with their lowlife lullabies, blasphemous ballads, and salacious sea shanties. Their famous fans include Marilyn Manson, The Kronos Quartet, David Byrne, and Franz Ferdinand, and they thrilled theatre critics and audiences alike on Broadway and in London's West End in the massive hit musical Shockheaded Peter. Their recent recordings include LOVE AND WAR and URINE PALACE. WARNING: Obscene, profane, surreal, disgusting, disturbing, hilarious, and beautiful. Not suitable for persons of delicate sensibilities.
